Coffeeneuring Ride #3: Beanetics
Beanetics 7028 Columbia Pike, Annandale, VA 22003 http://www.beanetics.com/ Mileage: 10.1 ---- Another local in-house roaster is Beanetics. I took my wonder of the local hills in the Lake Barcroft neighborhood, and made it down to Beanetics. Got a cup of the CroMagnon roast coffee and a cup cake thing, made in Bethesda (I would have gone two doors down to the bakery, but they were closed).
See, a serious cafe roasts their own beans in house, and stores them in burlap bags.
Rode directly home, as my wife had come back for a day to get some things to go back down to take care of her mother.
